Another great day (Monday 12th March) which saw us do a relatively short 160 mile trip from Benson to Apache Junction. We have found ourselves on a really good site, however a little busy. We took a trip into town for a meal and found a great resturant (the Dirt Water Bar & Grill) The food and service was excellent and the prices almost half of what we paid in New Orleans. For those of you who have watched the film RV starring Robin Williams, we had a bit of a moment last night when our neighbours invited us over drinks. Reluctantly we went around and they were 2 retired couples living the RV life having sold their properties. All they did was drive across the states in their quarter of million dollar rigs. They were extremely friendly and very keen to hear our story.. When they found out we were from SCOTLAAAAND they were our new best friends. "WOW SCOTLAND that's a coincidence" said Chuck "my Dad's is from Spain". Mmmmm Well they don't get out of their own country too much. It's another beautiful KOA day here and we are just getting ourselves packed up for a few more miles towards the Grand Canyon. Will no doubt post more tomorrow.

  1. Cool, or rather, hot. I like the bottom image which shows the driving area in Hurricane. Less of a cabin or cockpit and more of a walk-thru sunlounge really......with a steering wheel. Nice. No one fell out yet then? Cheers
