The 3 Amigos after the flight

Wednesday 14th March: We have had the most fantastic of days today. We booked into the Rancho Sedona RV Park at noon and have simply had one of the best unplanned day that you could imagine. We took a walk along Sedona main street and found this company doing helicopter flights for $40 being the ever sceptic I thought this is too good to be true, so let's not go there. Ken and James persisted and thankfully they did. Yes we paid $40 and yes we had the most wonderful of flights, just the 3 of us in this helicopter (see above) We won't bore you with the pictures cos we only took 2589 of them, but suffice to say it was the most magical of experiences. OK, enough of that. It's getting late here and this is the 3rd time tonight I have tried to upload this to the blog. This campsite has so many people trying to log on at the same time.... Agh !!!!!! We are having a night of musical reminisence Loads of Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Sensational Alex Harvey Band and soo much more. Tomorrow at 0830 our time + 7 hours your time a very nice chap from Hertz will be delivering a car and we will be taking Jane (Ruth Calum & Rhona know who Jane is) anyway Jane will be directing us on the road to the Grand Canyon and we plan to see the meteor creator and loads of other stuff that we haven't even heard of yet. OK. I'm going to have to log off because despite the fact that I've only written a few lines this has taken best part of an hour. The music tonight is soooooooooooooooooo good. For those of you who are beginning to understand my nocturnal habits I will no doubt be awake by 0900 am your time despite that being 0200 am my time... so PLEASE keep in touch. Currently listening to Phil Lynott.... Night night......

  1. $40 for a chopper ride sounds like the bargain of the century - looks like stunning scenery. Enjoy.......
